Yes, we take a commission
hockey.global carries affiliate links to some of the sportsbooks we review. When a reader signs up through one of those links, the sportsbook pays us a commission. The commission is disclosed here so you never have to guess.
What the commission does not do
The commission does not change the ranking. It does not change the score. It does not buy a mention on the homepage. The order you see is the order the desk argued at the last quarterly review, no matter who pays what.
What we do with the money
It pays the writers, the desk editor, and the developer. There is no third party in the middle.
How to check us
Read the methodology page. It shows the weightings that produce the scores. Then read a review and check whether the score reflects the categories, or whether it looks like the book paid for its position. If it looks paid, tell us. We will pull the review.
