Two provinces run open licensing. Ontario registers operators through the AGCO under an iGaming Ontario agreement, and Alberta has done the same through the AGLC and the Alberta iGaming Corporation since 13 July 2026. Everywhere else in Canada, sports betting is sold by the provincial lottery corporation, and the private brands you see advertised are offshore rather than provincially licensed. That is the single fact that decides what you are looking at.
So this page is short by design. Outside Ontario and Alberta there is no provincial register to check a private operator against, which means the consumer protections you would get in those two provinces do not apply to you. Dispute resolution, deposit-limit rules and advertising standards all sit with the regulator, and offshore books answer to their own licensing body instead.
Sports Interaction
Sports Interaction is one of the longest-running Canadian-facing brands and is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission rather than by a province. It is not registered with the AGCO or the AGLC, so it does not appear on our Ontario or Alberta lists.
BET99
BET99 holds a Kahnawake Gaming Commission licence and an AGCO registration, which makes it the one brand on this site that appears in both a provincial register and the rest-of-Canada conversation. Our odds feed does not carry BET99 prices, so we cannot compare its hockey numbers against the rest of the board.
Quebec and the provincial lotteries
Quebec sells sports betting through Loto-Quebec and Mise-o-jeu. British Columbia uses PlayNow, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and the territories use WCLC, and Atlantic Canada uses ALC. Those are the only provincially licensed options in their markets. Prices are generally worse than an open market because there is no competitor to force them tighter.
