Ontario vs Alberta: where hockey bettors get better odds

Ontario and Alberta have the same two registered books in this site's roster: bet365 and BET99. bet365 and BET99 hold AGCO registrations with iGaming Ontario agreements, and they are also the only two registered with the AGLC under the Alberta iGaming Corporation framework.

Alberta's regulated market opened on 13 July 2026. Our current board shows bet365 prices for all four opening-week games, but it does not carry BET99 prices, so it cannot prove a province-level odds advantage for either market.

What to watch next

Compare like with like. bet365 and DraftKings use two-way moneylines, while 1xBet, Melbet, FanDuel, Rainbet, Razed, Roobet and Linebet show regulation-time moneylines. Linebet values are synthesized from 1xBet.

Puck lines and totals can be compared across books. That comparison still measures book pricing, not an Ontario versus Alberta difference.

Bottom line

Neither province wins on the price evidence we have. bet365 is visible in both regulated markets and BET99 is absent from the board, so a claim that Ontario or Alberta offers better hockey odds is unsupported.
